Artist Statement
My primary focus in art at this time is our glorious landscape. Although I received my MFA in watercolor portraiture, the rural foothills of northern California have given me a great love and respect for the beauty of nature. Pastels were a natural evolution for me because of their ease of use, vibrant colors, permanency and to best show the effects of light and the essence of nature.
